Every year, in March, Bowling Green, KY hosts the Run & Walk For Children Half Marathon & 5K, which benefits the non-profit organization known as Bowling Green's Family Enrichment Center.

 

More than 100 runners are taken, annually, along a mostly flat and fast, out-and-back course through the area known as Three Springs, located just south of the city, starting at the Trinity Baptist Church on Smallhouse Road, finishing at Bowling Green's Basil Griffin Park, where the runners are greeted by a line of beautiful Corvettes.
