Gage Park, a beautiful 160-acre park, considered to be one of the star attractions in the City of Topeka.

Mulvane Art Museum, which emphasize Kansas artists and artists of the Mountain-Plains region, the area extending across the mid-North American plains to the Continental Divide, more than-two thirds of the museum's exhibits featuring the work of regional artists, the exhibits including photographs, paintings and scultures that catch the eye.

Annual Events

Mulvane Art Museum's Mountain/Plains Art Fair, scheduled on June 4 and 5, in 2011, is an annual fundraising event organized by the Friends of the Mulvane Art Museum, and proceeds support the Museum's education programs for children.

All kinds of entertaining activities are going on during this exciting event, the fair featuring musical entertainment, a hands-on art activity for children, and a food and beverage court. Paintings, drawings, prints, photography, jewelry and work in fiber, glass, wood, bronze, steel, ceramics and textiles, brought by more than 80 artists, from across the country are on display, to delight visitors, during this artful celebration.
