X-Country Marathon, 30K, Half-Marathon & 5K - this fun and popular Tampa running event happens in November, and offers a course that takes the participants through rolling hills and tall grass, in the beautiful Alafia River State Park.

The X-Country Marathon has something for everybody, featuring a full marathon, a half marathon and 5k courses, for those who are less athletic, but still enthusiastically willing to participate.

Festivals

The Annual Gasparilla Pirate Festival, which takes place in late January, is perhaps the most popular and expected annual celebration in Tampa.
