The entertainment is provided by music bands during the race, including the BolderBOULDER Bootlegs Volume Seven CD.

 

Since 2007, the participants are timed using timing tag technology from IPICO Sports, and only the finishers who are wearing the BolderBoulder timing tag on their shoes are able to claim their awards.

The annual festivals that are taking place in Boulder include the Annual Aerial Dance Festival, the Boulder Creek Hometown Fair and Boulder Asian Festival, the Chocolate Lover's Fling and many other fun, family events.
