The bus service in Nashville is provided by Nashville MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority ), which runs routes throughout downtown and the surrounding area, out of a newly built hub station downtown. The MTA fares are as follows: $1.60 for adults and $4.80 for an all day pass. No transfers are allowed.

 

The rail service in the area of Nashville, is provided by The Music City Star, through a commuter train that runs from Monday through Friday, from Lebanon to Downtown's Riverfront Station. The tickets can be purchased at the platform and are $5 each (one-way). There are also 2 shuttle services that servce the city, perhaps, the most useful one for tourists being Shuttle 94, which loops throughout downtown.

From Nashville International Airport: Head south on Terminal Dr. and take the ramp onto I-40 W. Continue onto I-24 W (follow the signs for I-65 N/Clarksville/Louisville) and take exit 46B on the left to merge onto I-65 S, toward I-40 W/Huntsville/Memphis. Take exit 85 for US-41 Alt/Rosa L Parks Blvd toward State Capitol/Farmers Market/Metro Center and turn right at US-41 Alt N/Rosa L Parks Blvd. Turn right at Clarksville Pike amd left at Ashton Ave. Turn right at John Mallette Dr., and then take the 1st right onto Bratton Ave. TSU will be on the left.
