Quincy Museum, perhaps, the perfect attraction in Quincy to visit, in order to get acquainted with the local history and culture, the museum being dedicated entirely to the city's past and present, featuring exhibits that include Indian artifacts and other historical items, showcased on 3 floors.

Villa Kathrine, a unique example of Mediterranean architecture, located on a bluff with a breath-taking view of the famous Mississippi River. The Islamic residence was built in 1900, and is listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and the Illinois Register of Historic Places. It is modeled after the Villa ben Ahben in Morocco and has a number of interesting features, including a ''harem room'' and a courtyard surrounding a marble mosaic reflecting pool. A replica of the Mosque of Thais in Tunisia surmounts the main tower with waving stripes as decoration covered by a dome.

Riverview Park, a beautiful park, great for spending a fun day out with family or friends. The park has attractions for the enjoyment of all family members, its main attraction being the breathtaking view of the river. A statue of George Rogers-Clark overlooks the Mississippi River. It was re-dedicated in 1996. There is also a shelter house with picnic tables, grills and restrooms. For the family there is a basketball court and playground equipment.
