Whiting Forest, spreading on 40 acres and featuring 2 miles of trails, covered bridges, and ponds, providing a gorgeous setting for outdoor enthusiasts, perfect for spending a day in the nature with friends or family. Opening hours are between 10 am and 6 pm.

Midland County Historical Society, which is a park with a unique mix of state-of-the-art archival and multi-purpose facilities, in a pleasant campus setting close to downtown Midland and the Pere Marquette Rail Trail. The park includes the Herbert D. Doan Midland County History Center, the Herbert H. Dow Historical Museum, and the 1874 Bradley Home Museum and Carriage House, in which visitors will find artifacts that range from pioneer's household wares, to farming equipment, to Dow Chemical and Dow Corning, to everyday objects used over the past 120 years.

Fun Zone at Plymouth Park, perfect for spending a memorable, fun day out with the family, while staying in Midland. Plymouth Park is a a huge wooden playscape that spreads on 40 acres of fun and features a full size soccer field with nets, paved basketball courts and a softball field, as well as a pool with a water slide and various picnic areas.
