The gorgeous Hueston Woods State Park, which can be found on Brown Road, featuring 3000 acres of natural resources perfect for outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, fishing, canoeing, or fossil hunting. The park surrounds Acton Lake, which offers campsites, cabins, and a fabulous resort lodge to entice the overnight visitor.

 

Annual Events

Every year, from June through August, the Oxford Music Festival Concert Series take place, which consist of free concerts, given at Oxford Uptown Parks, located at High and Main Street.

 

The festival is a tradition which dates since 1974, and it is affiliated to The British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance & Speech, founded in 1921.

 

It is an opportunity for participants to showcase their talent in music, dance or theatre, and it is also a chance for visitors to have fun and listen to quality, live music.
