~> Dockery Farms, a Mecca to Blues enthusiasts and the home to Charley Patton, the ''Father of the Blues''. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. The focal point of the park is a 75-foot high overlook tower, which provides panoramic views of the river. Trails lead down to the river where you can walk along the sand bar on the riverside. Annual Events

Crosstie Arts & Jazz Festival, celebrated in April, represents one of the most popular and most expected annual events in Cleveland.

 

Every year, on the 3rd Saturday, in April, local and regional artists and jazz musicians, young and old, showcase their talent, entertaining visitors, who, during this fabulous event can admire the finest paintings, sculptures and ceramics, in the region, taste delicious food, or get involved in the mnay entertaining activities offered.

 

In 2011, Crosstie Arts & Jazz Festival is scheduled on April 16, and will feature between 80-115 exhibitors, displaying paintings, sculpture, pottery, fabric and paper designs, hand-made furniture and jewelry, including a juried fine arts show.

 

There will also be road races, for young and old, an extensive area just for children, live entertainment and a delicious variety of regional foods.
