The first Worcester Half Marathon, 5K & Fun Run is scheduled on June 13, in 2010. This entertaining event, which will perhaps become one of Worcester's most popular annual sporting events, will take participants on a scenic course through the gorgeous and historic New England town, revealing some of the most beautiful areas in the city.

 

The Worcester Half Marathon is one of the 15 half marathon races that are being staged across the U.S., throughout the year, in 2010, which are called the USRA Half Marathon Series, representing an effort to bring the half marathon road races to small and medium-sized towns which did not have them in the past, in order to raise the popularity of the half marathons and attract as many runners as possible.

One of the most popular and favorite events, that happen throughout the year in Worcester, is considered to be the Worcester Irish Music Festival, which is scheduled from June 11th to June 13th, in 2010.
