Visit the Wood County Courthouse, located on the corner of East Court and North Prospect Streets, a beautiful building that was built in the 1890's, where you can see one of the largest working hand clocks ever created.

 

 

Test out your golfing skills at the Stone Ridge Golf Club, on Muirfield Drive, a great 18-hole golf course that contains everything you need to put together an entertaining game with friends.

 

 

Give yourself a treat during your vacation in Bowling Green, at Gallery Salon & Spa, which can be found on North Main Street, a premier downtown spa that offers everything a woman needs in order to feel like a queen, including massages, make-up make-over, pedicures, facials and many other relaxing treats.

 

 

Check out the schedule from Cla-Zel Theatre, on North Main Street, a beautiful theatre which offers live music, classic films, theatre performances and comedy acts, on regular basis.

 

Sports & outdoor events

The 2010 Annual GBA Falcon Classic, which is perhaps one of the most popular annual sporting events in Bowling Green, will be held in March. The GBA is the largest "girls only" tournament association in the Midwest, in which hundreds of basketball teams compete. In 2007, 120 teams played, in 9 weekends in a row, while in 2008, the event offered 11 fun-filled weekends in a row, giving the teams a chance to do what they love most, which is to play basketball, all spring and summer long. In 2009, the event was held at the BGSU campus, and happened in April.

 

 

Festivals

 

If art is your thing, then be sure to visit Bowling Green in September, when the Black Swamp Arts Festival is happening, one of the most popular annual celebrations in Bowling Green. Commonly referred to as BSAF, the festival is dedicated to connect the community with art, as well as to promote the arts in Bowling Green community.

 

The event has everything people need to enjoy themselves, including delicious festival-like treats, tons of fun, interesting activities, as well as lots of beautiful art displays, in all its forms, including a Juried Art Show and live musical performances.
