In addition to a vast list of appealing attractions, Russellville also offers visitors a number of entertaining and exciting annual events, among the most popular and most expected being considered: the Russellville Christmas Parade, which is a colorful annual parade, held on the first Thursday evening following Thanksgiving, believed to be the largest lit parade in the state of Arkansas, ValleyFest, which is an annual summer event that serves as a fund raiser for the Boys and Girls Club of the Arkansas River Valley, featuring games, a barbeque cook-off, competitive events, and many other fun activities, Taste of the Valley, which is Main Street Russellville’s award-winning tasting party, featuring a delicious assortment of food and drink provided by River Valley restaurants, caterers, vineyards, and food service institutions, and the Fall Festival & Chili Cook-off, which is a fun-filled, day-long street festival held each year on the last Saturday in October.
